News: 18 hours agoHoward tallied 21 points (10-12 FG, 1-2 FT), seven rebounds, five assists, three blocks and one steal over 33 minutes during the Lynx's 94-84 win over the Mystics on Friday.
Spin: Howard failed to score in the first quarter, but she made up for it with 11 points in the second frame to finish as the team's second-leading scorer behind Olivia Miles (24 points). Howard also led the Lynx in rebounds and blocks, and it was the fourth time this season that she swatted away three shots in a game. Through eight games in August, she has averaged 13.3 points, 7.3 rebounds, 3.9 assists, 1.4 steals and 1.0 blocks over 29.0 minutes per contest.
